Massage Therapy
All massage therapy rooms at the Wellness Center are designed for privacy and relaxation. Licensed massage therapists provide therapeutic, professional services that address conditions such as:
- Stress relief
- Migraines and headaches
- Circulatory and respiratory problems
- Muscular problems (spasms, strains, and sprains)
- Inflammatory conditions (arthritis and tendonitis)
- Repetitive strain injuries (carpal tunnel syndrome)
- Post-injury and post surgical rehabilitation
Types of Massage Therapy
A massage that uses deep pressure and slow strokes to chronic areas of tension and contraction. A technique that manipulates the fascia that connects and surrounds muscles. Utilizes specific techniques and bolstering to allow pregnant women to enjoy the benefits of a full body massage. Pressure Point massage applied to various reflex points on the feet, hands, and ears. Reflex points correspond with organs and other parts of the body. Uses stones of different temperatures on the body to bring about certain healing responses. Stone therapy comes in two forms: relaxing meditative form and a deep tissue form to relieve tired and sore muscles. A form of massage using long strokes, kneading, and friction applied to the superficial muscle layers to promote relaxation and circulation.
