Fauquier Health’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is a medically prescribed exercise and education program for people who have chronic obstructive or restrictive lung diseases, such as COPD, chronic asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and pulmonary hypertension. Through this program, patients work twice a week with a registered respiratory therapist who will monitor exercise sessions and skills training.
Individualized treatment plans allow for specialized care with a primary focus on breathing techniques to teach you how to cope with a chronic lung condition. Fauquier Health's Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVP).
Goals of the Program
